The 36-year-old rapper with the notoriously larger-than-life
ego made more claims about his genius and pretty much laid into the entire
entertainment industry in a mind-blowing interview with BBC Radio 1 personality
Zane Lowe, according to the NY Daily News.
"Rap is the new rock 'n' roll," West said.
"We the new rock stars, and I'm the biggest of all of
them. I'm the No. 1 rock star on the planet."
The loud declaration came at the end of a 15-minute chat
posted to YouTube, the first part of an hourlong conversation with the radio
host.
