CEO Steve Jones Assumes Ownership of Skyview Networks

Steve Jones has completed a buyout of Skyview Networks and now serves as the company’s president, CEO and chairman, a staff memo obtained by Radio Ink confirmed.

Steve Jones
Jones, who has led Skyview for seven years, assumed ownership with the backing of founder Ken Thiele and shareholders Diana Chamberlain and Dave Dickson, who will remain involved in advisory roles. The Scottsdale‑based audio technology and syndication company said the transition preserves Skyview’s current leadership and growth trajectory.

Jones brings extensive industry experience, including senior roles at The Walt Disney Company (vice president and general manager, ABC Radio) and ABCNEWS.com (vice president, programming and operations). He is a five‑time entrant on Radio Ink’s 40 Most Powerful list and a recipient of the Ward L. Quaal Leadership Award and the Giant of Broadcasting honor.

Thiele thanked staff for their contributions and praised Jones’s steady focus on expanding Skyview’s business and maintaining stability. Jones said he accepts the responsibility “with transparency, respect and a long‑term focus on our people and business.”
