Memphis Radio: Drake Hall OUT At WXMX

One of Memphis' tenured radio personalities, Drake Hall of WXMX 98.1's "Drake in the Morning", disappeared from airwaves this week, reports The Commercial Appeal.

On Wednesday, he hinted at future developments that would ferry him away from WXMX 98.1.

"As many of you have noticed, I'm not on the radio at the moment," Hall wrote on Facebook.

Hall did not immediately return a call from The Commercial Appeal, nor did Cumulus Media, which owns WXMX 98.1

For more many years, Hall was one half of the wildly popular duo "Drake and Zeke in the Morning".

Hall's co-host, David Millar, more commonly known as Zeke Logan, passed away in 2015 after being diagnosed with cancer.

The two hosted some form of their morning show on multiple stations. They were often voted by readers of many publications, including The Commercial Appeal, as the best in the business.
