Atlanta Radio: WWWQ Launches New Online 'Community'

Cumulus Media announces that its Top 40 radio station WWWQ-FM 99.7 Q100 in Atlanta has debuted Q-U, its groundbreaking new online destination for contemporary hit music fans.

Q-U’s website puts listeners first with video content that brings together the Q100 listening community in a new way, and includes original content from listeners who share their lives with others who have a passion for hit music. Q-U tackles issues affecting young adults on a daily basis, including relationships, jobs, college loans, family and activism.

Sean Shannon, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Atlanta, said: “Q-U builds the Q100 brand and elevates and transforms the standard “we talk, you listen” format to a truly integrated conversational fan experience. We couldn’t be more excited to launch this innovative new destination for Atlantans who love hit music.”

Louie Diaz, Q100 Program Director, said: “Q-U is outside-thinking, and extends our passionate Q100 listener community and provides a broader, more personal platform for them to share their lives with each other and to interact with extremely relevant video content, including content that they create. QUAtlanta.com is an exciting and truly different destination that brings together Q100 listeners and fans of today’s biggest hits and artists to relate in a meaningful and entertaining way.”
