CNN's Stelter Labels Fox&Friends Trump Infomercial

During today’s broadcast of CNN’s Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter took aim at one of his network’s competitors, suggesting that they are little more than a propaganda distributor for President Donald Trump.

“What would a daily infomercial for the Trump presidency look like? Actually, we don’t have to wonder. We have the answer right in front of us. It’s called Fox & Friends,” Stelter noted at the start of the segment.

Pointing out that the president has given the only two interviews he’s conducted in the past six weeks to the program, he explained that they observed Fox & Friends for a whole week and found that it is “Trump’s safe space.”

Stelter added, ” The show is about showering Trump with positive attention and burying his enemies with negative attention.”

The CNN senior media correspondent went on to play various clips of the show’s hosts parroting White House talking points about Russian collusion, special counsel Robert Mueller, and the mainstream media.
