Seattle Radio: Fitz EXITS KKWF The Wolf

Entercom KKWF 100.7 FM Seattle morning host Fitz has exited after nearly 12 years with the station.

Co-hosts Ellen Tailor and Randy "The Biscuit" Stein remain in the shift as the search for a replacement gets underway.

"Fitz has been an important part of the station for nearly 12 years," an Entercom spokesperson says. "We wish him well, and we will be conducting a nationwide search for the station's next morning show."

Commenting on his departure, Fitz tells Jockline "I'm deeply grateful to Entercom, its management and to our amazing listeners for allowing me to host this morning show for nearly a dozen years. One of the most exciting days of my career was being there for the launch of The Wolf Seattle and remaining part of one of city's most successful brands. I wish The Wolf and its staff nothing but the best and look forward with great excitement to my future ahead. Meanwhile, I'll still be very much connecting with listeners through my daily Sun Broadcast Group's syndicated 'The Fitz Show,' along with 'The Hit List With Fitz' and 'Nashville Minute.'
