Alpha Media Biloxi/Gulfport, MS has announced that Brady would be moving to Portland’s Top40 KBFF 95.5 FM while James Steele will be taking over nights at Biloxi/Gulfport’s WXYK 107.1 FM The Monkey.

Brady joined WXYK in March 2015.

Alpha Media VP of Programming, Phil Becker commented, “James Steele is one of a series of talents that I have had my eye on. It feels great to welcome him to the Alpha family while at the same time rewarding Brady for his hard work as he transitions to Portland.“

Ricky Mitchell, Biloxi/Gulfport VP/Market Manager stated, “While we are going to miss Brady, it is always the goal from the beginning to groom and help get great talent promoted upward with Alpha.

It opens up a great opportunity for someone else, and we could not be more excited to have a talent like James Steele joining us here at Alpha Media Biloxi/Gulfport. He is a true Radio professional and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Listeners here in Biloxi/Gulfport.”

“I am extremely excited to have a talent like James as part of our team here at Alpha Biloxi/Gulfport. He creates compelling fun radio and will be a great addition to our staff at 107.1 The Monkey both on and off the air,” added Alpha Biloxi Sr. Operations Manager, Kenny Vest.

James commented on his move, “Happiness is the most important thing in life. I had the honor to be a part of an amazing family at CBS Orlando, and I am truly lucky because as soon as I entered these hallways at Alpha that family feeling was instant. Alpha Media is revolutionizing radio, and it feels incredible to be a part of the revolution. Big thanks to Phil Becker, Kenny Vest, Ricky Mitchell, Joel Denver, TicTak, Brady, and of course PD Boss-man Lucas for laughing at my horrible jokes. I have to mention the Facebook Radio Peeps crew. We are in this together, thank you for looking out when times were tough. Let the games begin!”
