R.I.P.: Longtime L-A/SF Radio Personality Shana

Longtime L-A and San Francisco air personality Shana LiVigni died in her sleep over over the weekend.

She was 62-yeas-of-age.

Most recently she owned Barefoot Entertainment and had been a Los Angeles radio personality for the past 35-years on such station as KHJ, KROQ, KLOS, KLSX, ARROW 93, and others.

In 1974, Shana also held the distinction of being the first female jock at age 24 on RKO Radio's iconic KFRC 610 AM San Francisco. She also produced the morning show on KLOS/Los Angeles, served as Talent Coordinator for the syndicated Rockline, worked at Album Network,

Her other industry experience included talent coordinator for radio syndicated shows, independent record promoter for Triple A and Americana formats, freelance writer and former editor of rock format at Album Network.
