Only a handful of musicians in history have transcended all artistic boundaries, whether through music collaborations, acting, comedy, variety, putting together one of the biggest albums in recent history or staging the biggest and most technically ambitious tour of the last 2 years.  iHeartRadio will honor Grammy and Emmy award winning artist Justin Timberlake for his unparalleled position in the entertainment world and will pay tribute to his significant contributions to the music industry.

Timberlake swept the 2014 Billboard Music Awards taking home seven Awards including Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album and Top Billboard 200 Album.  He also has received three People’s Choice Awards, three GRAMMY Awards, three ASCAP Awards, a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award and a Radio Disney Music Award.  These awards bring his grand total of awards to 25 for The 20\20 Experience – The Complete Experience since it was released in March 2013.

The 20\20 Experience – The Complete Experience has been critically well received and was the best-selling album worldwide in 2013.  To date it has sold more than 5 million albums and 15 million tracks.

"Justin is one of the most dynamic artists of our lifetime, a visionary whose influence on pop culture starts with brilliant music and stretches well beyond,” said Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms for iHeartMedia. “I’m amazed how he regularly breaks barriers that continue to shape and define music trends.  We’re thrilled to recognize him amongst his peers — who also proudly call themselves his fans."

The three-hour telecast will truly reflect America’s favorite music and will showcase the year’s most popular artists and songs determined by the iHeartRadio Chart and fan voting through iHeartRadio stations nationwide.  The evening will include performances by Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Madonna, Jason Aldean, Jamie Foxx, Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Snoop Dogg, Charlie Wilson, Nate Ruess, Alesso and Florida Georgia Line along with appearances from Taylor Swift and more.  This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards will also feature unexpected collaborations from some of the top names in music.
