WV Radio: Crash Poteet Named New PD At Country WKWS

Crash Poteet
West Virginia Radio Corp.'s Country WKWS 96.1 FM/The Wolf has signed Crash Poteet as its new Program Director and afternoon personality.

It becomes effective December 8.

He replaces Brian Egan, who left last month to become Executive Producer for "Nash Nights Live."

Most recently, Poteet served as Brand Manager for Journal Broadcast Group's Country KVOO-FM in Tulsa. Before that, he programmed KSCS-FM in Dallas.

"Crash is one of the great programming minds and strategists in Country radio," stated West Virginia Radio Corp./Charleston OM Jeff Adams. "After talking to him, it was clear he immediately grasped where The Wolf is positioned in the market and where it needs to go. His depth of knowledge of what makes a winning brand is exactly what The Wolf needs to lead it to even greater heights."
